I'm not sure. It seems to play moving pictures.

That's amazing! We have radios where I'm from, but nothing that includes pictures too.

I don't... think we have these things where I'm from.

They might be from the Old World, if neither of us recognize them.

Oh, right. Different worlds. The Rash is...well, it's very contagious, and very deadly. That's why the whole world changed when it appeared.

That's exactly what it is, yes.

Are there any treatments for it?

No. If you catch it, there's nothing you can do.

... How long has it been there?

Oh, a long time. But it's alright, we have ways to protect people from it. And plenty of people are naturally immune too.
