I don't think it'll change the outcome.

I don't think my watching will change anything, but at the same time... if I end up there... it seems like something to know about.

It doesn't, no. But speaking from personal experience, if you spend all your time worrying about what could happen, then you won't get to do the things you actually want to do.

I don't think about it all the time... It's just hard not to think about it today.

I think I know just the right one for today too: the story of the first time my brother Onni sheared a sheep.

[pathopen]

[He will get as comfortable as he can on the couch.]

How old was he when he did this?

[polyglotti]

Twelve or thirteen, somewhere around there. That's about the age when kids start working real jobs where I'm from. But Onni, he gets scared of stuff easily, especially if it's stuff he doesn't know well. So he tried his best to be brave about it, but you could tell he was nervous about messing up. Shearing a sheep isn't easy, it's a live animal after all!

So our parents got him one of the younger sheep, figuring he could manage a small one on his own. But when he got close with the shears, the sheep ran right at him!
